Can I get access to what real-estate agents have access to in reference to info about houses?

Most real estate agents have web sites that will download active listing information from the MLS so that you can search for a house.

They are not allowed to download some information onto the websites.  If you want all the information in a very easy to search manner you would have to join the MLS.  That would be expensive.
