I was evicted from a council flat about 2yrs ago...I want to apply again but for

I was evicted about 2 years ago, from a council flat for unpaid rent..The rent is now been paid back through a ballif. Some houses have come up in a near by village and we want to apply, it falls into a different council.
Will they rehome me, These houses we are applying for are council houses but they are in partnership with a hosuing assosiation.

It asks on the form if i have ever been evicted from a council house, I am worried that they wont rehome me because of it?

We are in a private rented house, all the rent is upto date we have been good tenats so we will have a good reference.

Any help would be great
