Ok so about 4 months ago I found this job video editing. I LOVE LOVE LOVE video editing. It was for wedding videos, even better. I got the job within 10 minutes of meeting the owner of the company. He gave me a project to do that day. I took it home, and started working on it. That's when things went wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. You can't even imagine. The editing software I was using kept freezing, and shut down  my computer I don't even know how many times. A week goes by, and I'm in contact with him about the project everyday... he tells me... "give the project back to me... I'll give it to someone else". That crushed me because I worked 6 days straight, and I do mean straight on the project. No sleep. It was totally out of my hands. The computer just couldn't handle it I suppose. Ok, so I buy an iMac! a $2500 computer... for this job... when I don't really have the money to just be spending like that for nothing. He says, "call me back as soon as you get the computer, I'll give you another... I understand" kinda deal. So I call him back when I get it, and he tells me to go to seminars and learn how to use FCP... even though I told him many times, I knew how to use the program and everything that had to go with it to author a DVD and make a final production. So he says to call him back within a few months... by November of 2008... and he'll give me more projects. Well, I emailed him, but no response. Should I call him back? I really want this job. It's my passion in life. Since that happened, I have been very depressed, feel like I am worthless. It broke me. I have been looking for jobs similar, but cannot find anything matching it. I'm scared to call him, thinking he doesn't want to hear from me, but I love doing this, and I need the money. Should I call him after all this time?
