I would like to buy a home for my family and I hear tax lien or levy sales can be a option but every site with info wants money and I know if it is a government sale somewhere the info is free for the asking

http://www.bid4assets.com/ is a great site to start with.  They offer a lot of government auctions including DEA and Marshall's Office.
